Medicaid Services

Service Coordination plays an important role in improving the quality of life for people who are developmentally disabled and their families.

It is a service that assists people with developmental disabilities to gain access to necessary services and supports appropriate to the needs of the individual. A Service Coordinator promotes the concepts of choice, consumer satisfaction and individualized supports and services. This may include helping to find and apply for special funding, serving as a liaison with schools or medical providers or providing guidance regarding living or day program options.
